The young Reunion start-up is the first local brand to be distributed in R’Déco stores. With this partnership, it is banking on phygital development to stimulate its sales and notoriety.
Created two years ago in Reunion by Catherine Class, Zohal is a solidarity and design brand, specialized in the world of decoration. Its creator creates and sells her own collections online, and also offers local artisans and brands the opportunity to sell their creations online via its marketplace (www.zohal.fr). Zohal became known online for its tableware collections, household linen and decorative objects bearing the names of emblematic places in Reunion. The brand is now betting on phygital (physical and digital sales) by integrating the Ravate group’s offering. Its products can be found in R’Déco stores. A new stage in the development of the young shoot. “We are delighted that a large group like Ravate is giving us this opportunity. We hope that this partnership will be lasting, particularly in the visibility that we wish to ultimately give to the artisans of our platform”, welcomes Catherine Class. Zohal’s welcome translated, at Ravate, a desire to support local businesses. “We are committed to supporting local businesses in their development to boost and develop the economic fabric of the island.. The common values that drive Zohal and our group have finally convinced us”, explains Zoubeir Ravate, group development director.
Soon a Zohal collection for Ravate
Zohal is thus the first local brand to be distributed in R’Déco stores. Catherine Class also hopes to be able to launch, in collaboration with Ravate, an upcoming collection for the first half of 2023. Waiting, Zohal products are already available in R’Déco stores in Saint-Denis, of the Port and Saint-Pierre. Some of the start-up's products are also available online on the Ravate marketplace.
