On the occasion of this centenary, Mont Blanc puts on its most beautiful festive outfit, a new design celebrating its “100 years of sharing” between generations.
Anchored in the heritage and hearts of the French, Mont Blanc has established itself over the decades as the reference for family cream desserts. Mont Blanc positions itself as a transgenerational brand : its products reach all generations and all ages. For this reason, the notion of transmission is one of the strong values of the brand which associates the consumption of its cream desserts with a true family ritual which is perpetuated over generations. The history of Mont Blanc begins in 1917 in Rumilly, at the foot of one of the highest peaks in Europe : Mont Blanc. So specialized in the production of sweetened condensed milk and chocolate powder, In 1921, the Lait Mont Blanc company became the Mont Blanc brand.. In 1952, it launched its first ready-to-eat creams.. Creamy and delicious, these creams called dessert creams in 1962, are made in the Normandy countryside, in Chef-du-Pont, using milk from sometimes historic partnerships between Mont Blanc and local dairy producers.
Packaging revisited in 2021
The brand is celebrating its centenary with the new design of its creams
desserts halfway between festivity and authenticity.
More dynamic, this design also further highlights the brand’s commitments : French manufacturing of recipes with milk 100% Origin France and without preservatives. Furthermore, for several years, Mont Blanc strives to reformulate the recipes of its dessert creams in order to only offer products with a fat content of less than or equal to 5%., or a Nutri-Score B or C. So, in November 2019, Récré Olé water bottles saw their Nutri-Score drop from C to B. The family format with its iconic infinitely recyclable box also demonstrates the brand's ecological concern.. Tin cans, paper labels, the lids or the aluminum cups, are 100% recyclable on the cream dessert and cereal dessert ranges. On the range of dairy snacks, the cardboard case is also fully recyclable. For plastic bottles, Mont Blanc is working on several eco-design projects for recyclable and recycled water bottles. Until then, alternative solutions for recycling your water bottles, as through its partnership with TerraCycle, allows them to be transformed into various bench-type products, trash cans, etc.
