The intercommunal community of northern Reunion (Cinor) installed its development council on April 29, consultative body composed of representatives of economic circles, social, cultural and associative. Complement of representative democracy, it is intended to be regularly consulted by the governance bodies of the urban community. A communication campaign was organized between February 28 and March 28, 2022 to encourage citizens of the intercommunity territory to submit their candidacy to sit there.. 110 applications were registered. The Cinor Development Council includes 48 members (24 women and 24 men) distributed among three colleges : 15 members for the business college, 15 for that of associations and 18 for the college of qualified persons.
