Family business in Hauts-de-France, Leroux has been manufacturing and marketing a range of chicory-based products for 163 years. In 2021, the French company unveils its new product : Organic Chicory Grains. An innovation that respects the environment while preserving the unique taste of chicory and its benefits. Chicory Leroux is usually consumed in a soluble version., ground or liquid. With Organic Chicory Grains, Leroux democratizes the use of chicory grains, which is simply consumed as an infusion. In a ball to infuse with hot water, milk or a vegetable drink, it reveals its sweetness and slightly caramelized taste. Like most Leroux products, Organic Chicory Grains are naturally caffeine-free and without added sugars. It is low in calories and allows good hydration of the body. Natural and full of benefits, Organic Chicory Grains can be enjoyed throughout the day. The morning, it accompanies breakfast. Historical know-how
Chicory is a plant of the genus Cichorium intybus sativum. The grain from the root of this plant is obtained from roasted chips. They are then cooled and then crushed. Chicory is grown in the Hauts region- de-France for Leroux by 200 farmers. Drying, roasting, extraction or atomization, all these processing steps are carried out locally.
