Open to customers for a few months, the agency on rue Jean-Chatel occupies historic premises.
The agency was officially inaugurated on September 1st in the presence of Christine Fabresse, President of the Executive Board of Caisse d’Épargne CEPAC. It is installed in the historic premises of the Banque de La Réunion built in 1858 to accommodate the first banking establishment created on the island.. This site representative of the architectural heritage of the city of Saint-Denis today constitutes, for CEPAC, “a bridge between history and modernity”. It was officially inaugurated in the presence also of Georges-Marie Auré, president of the Sociétélocale d’Épargne representing the member clients of Caisse d’Épargne CEPAC, by Alain Ripert, member of the management board in charge of the Overseas Division and Fabrice Guilhem, new sales director for the Réunion Mayotte region. This new agency demonstrates the ambition of Caisse d’Épargne CEPAC to invest sustainably in the territory of Reunion Island, underlined Christine Fabresse. The director of the Chatel agency, Alain Law-Man-Yo, presented its team of 14 customer advisors, professional and heritage affairs managers, and the organization allowing rapid support, whatever the mode of contact (came to the agency, phone call, sending email). The Chatel site also houses a space dedicated to private management, located opposite the agency, in which Private Management business managers benefit from their expertise in capital management.
