Duvel is a Belgian specialty beer, blonde and natural, with variations imagined to constantly renew the Duvel experience. Also special due to its recently redesigned graphic universe. It all started in 1871, when Jan-Léonard Moortgat and his wife created the brewery. Belgium then has 3,000 breweries. At the beginning of the 20th century, their sons Albert and Victor are involved in the development of a beer that has become iconic : the Duvel. During the First World War, Belgium discovers the famous English ales. The quoi inspired Albert Moortgat, who imagines a special beer, based on this model from across the Channel. In 1918, so he travels the United Kingdom, but comes up against the discretion of local brewers, before finding the precious sesame in a Scottish brewery. Even today, Duvel brewers use this same yeast, grown from the original strain. The fourth generation of the Moortgat family is currently perpetuating this know-how while enriching it to bring it into the spirit of the times. The brand has thus become a must for specialty beers refermented in the bottle.. Duvel Moortgat now has 11 brewing sites around the world.

The Duvel is the icon of the brand. What sets it apart ? Its clear color, its pronounced taste with 8,5% alcohol, its delicate pearl and soft texture. In mouth, it reveals a slight bitterness, as well as refined and sophisticated aromas, resulting from a long maturation process, which guarantees these inimitable flavors.
