Jacquet launches the very first legume breads on the market

Rich in fiber, protein sources… While legumes are making a comeback on plates, Jacquet embeds them in unique burger buns. Chickpeas or red beans make their way into homemade burgers.

In 2017, ANSES (National Food Safety Agency, environment and work) has included legumes in its list of dietary recommendations. Since 2019, the National Nutrition Health Program (PNNS) recommends consuming a serving of legumes at least once a week by 2023. While 92% of French people think that legumes are good for health, Jacquet unveils its burger buns made from red beans and tomatoes and with chickpea and corn flavors. Wheat flour burgers, red beans and tomatoes : the deliciousness of tomato and the flavor of red beans combine for a unique burger bun. Brown flax seeds add crunch. Wheat flour burgers, chickpeas and corn : covered with a constellation of golden flax seeds, these buns promise hamburgers as colorful as they are tasty. The sweetness of the corn brings a sweet note. Sold in the format of four burger buns (260 g).

Other new Jacquet, the small slices with wheat and chickpeas are, in addition, no added sugar. Sources of fiber and protein thanks to the chickpeas that make up the recipe, these 15 small slices constitute another innovation in the legume range with different flavor combinations, news, for creative cooks.
