Every year, the scores published by the nPerf barometer are carefully observed by mobile Internet access providers and their customers.
According to these calculations, it was SFR which provided the fastest download speed (70 megabits per second) in Réunion from January 1 to December 31, 2023. nPerf points out that our island benefits from a higher download speed than some European countries (Belgium, Spain, Greece). Zeop for its part offered the best latency (23 milliseconds), the time it takes for a data packet to travel back and forth between a computer and the throughput test server. 0-30ms latency is considered excellent, enabling real-time interaction. Zeop customers also benefited from better web browsing performance (53 %) equivalent to an average page load time of 4,7 seconds. Orange Réunion offered the fastest upstream speed (18 Mb/s), SFR the best video streaming experience. If the competition is tight between Orange and SFR, “Zeop positions itself as a serious competitor enriching the competitive landscape of Reunion”, underlines the nPerf barometer.
