In 2022, 5,700 Reunion Islanders were affected by the various aid measures for integration through economic activity, according to the prefecture, in 85 structures offering courses combining work, training and adapted support for a maximum duration of 24 months : 53% of people welcomed then benefited from employment or certification and qualifying training. The credits allocated by the State to Reunion in the field of integration through the economy increased from 13,6 million euros in 2019 to 24 million in 2022. Since 2019, 2,000 additional people per year were supported and 27 new integration structures were approved, including a doubling of the number of integration companies, underlines the prefecture.
