Ilôt Surgelé opens its doors in Aügur

After the opening of a first point of sale in Saint-Pierre in August, the brand new Aügur brand of organic and vegan frozen products has corners in the twelve Ilôt Surgelé stores on the island.

“The doors of Ilôt Surgelé are open in Aügur. All our stores now have a corner offering a selection of the essential organic and vegan range distributed by Aügur.”, welcomes Christophe Aigueperse, president of the Kryos group. Aügur is the first frozen food store concept specializing in organic and vegan products., gluten-free and lactose-free, intended for people with gluten intolerance and customers looking for responsible food products. The Kryos group is implementing a triple strategy on this project, with the opening of specific Aügur stores (a second point of sale is due to open in the first half of the year in Saint-Denis), distribution of part of the new range within the Ilôt Surgelé store network and online ordering and home delivery from next year.

A brand committed to the food transition
The Aügur concept is also based on consumer information regarding the organic and vegan certifications of products.. Aügur also has the ambition to contribute to developing the offer of local frozen products.. She supports the first pei frozen fruit and vegetable project of a group of market gardeners from the south of Reunion Island.. As inflationary pressure begins to ebb, the brand is clearly taking a position to make frozen food a food transition solution.
