Hoa Nam at the G20 of young entrepreneurs

Marks of recognition follow one another for Hoa Nam, first Franco-Asian company to establish itself on the French supermarket market, become European leader in the export of fresh and frozen Asian cooked products. End of October, Hoa Nam has been selected to represent France at the 2022 Young Entrepreneurs Summit, in Germany, around the theme “bringing peace and sustainability through entrepreneurship”.

The G20 of Young Entrepreneurs (G20 YEA pour Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance) takes place each year ahead of the G20 leaders’ summit. It is the meeting point for high-potential start-ups and VSEs, SMEs and ETIs leaders in their market in France and internationally. Citizen Entrepreneurs, the association responsible for constituting and leading the delegation of entrepreneurs which represents France each year at the G20 YEA summit, last September brought together a jury made up of personalities from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, under the presidency of Catherine Barba Chiaramonti, the serial entrepreneur, e-commerce expert. Among the 22 companies selected to be part of the French delegation was Hoa Nam. An honor that I share with my entire team without whom none of this would have been possible.. I also have a heartfelt thought for my father, Heang-Korng Chieu, co-founded the company with my uncle Try. Who could have imagined, forty years ago, that Hoa Nam would one day be recognized as a nugget of French entrepreneurship ? », reacted Philippe Chieu, president of Hoa Nam. Chaired by Indonesia, this 14th edition of the G20 of young entrepreneurs took place in Hamburg from October 25 to 28, 2022. On this occasion, the 22 members of the delegation developed recommendations which will be submitted to the French government following the G20 summit. The success is such today that Hoa Nam has established itself as one of the pioneers of the Asian agri-food industry in France.. Hoa Nam has become the European leader in the export of fresh and frozen Asian cooked products. From the third generation of the line, Since 2010, Philippe Chieu has worked to promote his grandmother's traditional recipes while infusing modernity and dynamism into this family business which today has 90 employees..
