For the third consecutive year, the HEC Stand Up system was deployed in Reunion Island to enable women to redirect their professional path by choosing to create a business. Two sessions were held, one in Saint-Louis and the other in Saint-Paul. During each of these sessions nearly 20 interns worked on their project and were coached to better understand their launch. Supported by HEC Paris, BRED Réunion and the Fond’ker foundation, HEC Stand Up is an equal opportunities program, which aims to promote the financial independence of women through entrepreneurship. Its objective is to remove personal obstacles to increase self-confidence. Beneficiaries are issued a certificate, and support is then put in place. A fourth edition is already scheduled for 2024.
