The Japanese company Saraya launches and produces an innovation in France with the Happy Elephant brand, the latest generation of eco-responsible home care products developed from soforo, a natural biosurfactant.
With many years of expertise in hygiene and health solutions for hospitals, businesses and individuals, Japanese company Saraya ensures patient safety, customers and consumers while respecting the environment. Leader in hospital and public hygiene disinfection in Japan, Saraya moved to Europe in 2018 with the acquisition of a small company specializing in liquid soaps and detergents (dishwashing liquids, laundry detergents, multi-purpose cleaners) based in Velaines, in the Meuse. Through this investment, Saraya Europe saved the jobs of 60 people, modernized site equipment, improved production processes and developed innovative products. After five years of collaboration and exchange of know-how, Saraya announces the marketing of its first range of more environmentally friendly cleaning products, named Happy Elephant. A very innovative range formulated from a natural biosurfactant, I suffer them, developed and patented by Saraya, as well as certified by Ecocert, reference in organic and ecological labeling.
Very advanced eco-design
Innovation majeure, all products in the range are formulated with soforo, natural biosurfactant from glucose fermentation, yeast and upgraded vegetable oil, like sunflower and rapeseed oil. Its natural manufacturing process and fermentation consume much less energy than most surfactants on the market.. But this is not the only ecological quality of the range. Thanks to printing directly on recycled and recyclable bottles, Happy Elephant does not use labels and offers consumers reusable and very stylish packaging., designed like that of a range of cosmetics. All Happy Elephant products are rechargeable thanks to their eco-refills. And all are as effective as conventional products while having Ecocert certification. Finally, all natural ingredients integrated into the manufacturing of the products come from local manufacturers located less than 300 km to promote a perspective of circular economy and sustainable development.
A COMMITTED BRAND
Happy Elephant was born from an experience of M. to the palace, president of the company, following one of his trips to Borneo, about ten years ago, facing an elephant injured by poachers. The brand raises funds to save Borneo's elephants, a breed of elephant threatened today. One percent of sales is donated to the Borneo Conservation Trust, committed to animal preservation and reforestation.
