Almost 100 years ago, the first honey from the Rigoni family was born in Veneto.. A legacy born at the end of the Great War from Nonna Elisa’s passion for beekeeping, that subsequent generations have endeavored to perpetuate. This is how with the Mielbio range, Rigoni di Asiago continues with each production to take those who taste it on a journey.. Monoflorale (70% of pollen from the same variety of plant) or thousand flowers, liquid or creamy, with full-bodied or softer notes, each scent of honey transports you to the heart of the Italian terroir. Installed in the heart of areas free of all pollution and full of plants, trees and wildflowers, hives are designed with untreated materials. Honey is designed in harmony with nature, by bees virgins of any treatment. A virtuous approach both for the consumer and for the bees which evolve in a preserved environment. Rigoni di Asiago guarantees 100% organic recipes, without preservatives, without colorings or GMOs and consistent with seasonality. The taste and texture of honey differ from one year to the next depending on the nectars collected by the bees.

Tradition et innovation
If Nonna Elisa's grandchildren perpetuate her values, the family business has evolved over the years. Combining tradition and innovation, it develops manufacturing processes and develops its own machines. Unheated, honey is never exposed to a temperature higher than that of the hive. Extraction and transformation are done at low temperature (less than 35°C), which allows all the flavors and health benefits to be optimally preserved : vitamins, mineral salts, anti-inflammatories, etc. Consumed today all over the world, its Nocciolata organic product ranges (spreads), Fiordifrutta (jams) a Mielbio (honeys) can be found in supermarkets, organic and e-commerce stores.
