French Bee does not give its competitors any respite on the Métropole-Réunion line. Its president Christine Ourmières-Widener announced at the end of September a significant strengthening of its program from November 1.
French Bee will then increase its flight program between Orly and Saint-Denis from 7 to 9 weekly frequencies, then at 1 p.m. during the high school holiday season, finally to 8 between the end of January and the end of March 2025. All these flights will be operated with Airbus A350-1000 with 480 seats, mainly during the day. Seat availability will increase by 13% overall during the season.
Christine Ourmières-Widener estimates the average price of the tickets she sells on the line at 800 euros.. “Our costs are increasing, like other companies, she comments, but we are the youngest and we start with a real differential, we have expanded the market by reaching a larger customer segment with affordable prices. »
