Chantal Manès-Bonisseau, rector of Reunion, and Nassir Goulamaly, president of the Océinde group, signed a framework agreement on April 18 “aimed at stimulating education and academic success in Reunion Island”. Thanks to this five-year partnership, the Océinde group joins in actions initiated in partnership with the rectorate, particularly in the context of the development of professional training. Education is in fact a priority area of the group’s sponsorship program and its foundation., which will be the subject of specific agreements that may involve the different components of the group, including Mauvilac and Zeop. Océinde acknowledges its commitment as patron of the academic competition “the professional path in all its masterpieces” organized for three years by the academy of Reunion Island. Its objective is to promote the work of students enrolled in the professional aptitude certificate and professional baccalaureate.. Océinde will contribute 23,000 euros per year for three years. Through its foundation and its various companies, the group will also support the Legion of Honor “Merit and Talent” award, which rewards brilliant and deserving students from vocational high schools. It already supports the Komidi festival in its objective of making theater accessible to all, for thirty years Mauvilac has been offering paint and equipment to the art school, and the Océinde foundation, with Zeop, gets involved in distributing computers to underprivileged children.
