The Mahorean subsidiary of Air Austral integrated a Boeing 737 from its parent company into its fleet in December to serve Reunion Island from Dzaoudzi. Ewa Air has therefore densified the aircraft to 183 seats, in single class, in order to offer particularly low introductory prices : from 129 euros round trip without luggage, with an additional supplement of 50 euros per trip for a piece of luggage weighing 23 kilos, and 70 euros for a second piece of luggage. This offer is intended to complement that of Air Austral by targeting a young public in Mahorais, living in Mayotte or Reunion. From December 21, Ewa provided two weekly connections to Saint-Pierre airport, and two at Roland-Garros airport. She then reduced the sail from January 24, by combining its flights to Saint-Denis and Saint-Pierre. Until February 21, it offers twice a week a loop between Mayotte and the two Reunion airports.
