TotalEnergies announces the opening of crowdfunding, via Lendosphere, two solar roof projects located respectively on the Champ Fleuri sports complex in Saint-Denis and on business buildings in the Plaines Business Zone, in Saint-Benoît. In the amount of 171,000 euros, collection is reserved exclusively for residents of Réunion.
This campaign, on a paid loan, concerns a first project located in Saint-Denis aimed at enhancing the roofs of the Champ Fleuri sports complex using photovoltaics. This project, with a power of 470,7 kWp, will produce approximately 687 MWh per year. It will thus cover the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 464 people and will avoid the emission of 461 tonnes of CO2 each year.. The campaign also finances 10 solar roofs in the Plaines Activity Zone in Saint-Benoît, distributed over the buildings of a real estate complex intended for tertiary companies. With a total power of 475,2 kWp, these solar roofs will produce a total of 689 MWh per year. They will thus cover the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 465 people and will avoid the emission of 462 tonnes of CO2 each year.. For these two central, work began in fall 2021, and commissioning is planned for the second quarter of 2022.

To finance the construction of these power plants and know the investment terms (interest rate, duration, etc.), lenders must first register on the Lendosphere website, first crowdfunding platform for loans and equity dedicated to sustainable development projects. Since its launch in December 2014, more than 120 million euros have already been invested, by the 21,000 members of its community, out of 330 renewable energy projects which avoided the emission of 1,5 million tonnes of CO2 per year cumulatively. Which represents the equivalent of the annual consumption of nearly one million six hundred thousand people and a saving of nearly 590,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year..
