After the launch in 2020 and the success in France of its first product, Bob the mini dishwasher, the new brand of household appliances made in France continues its development in Germany and northern Europe and launches a new product : Joe the all-in-one oven.
Daan means Da for Damian Py and An for Antoine Fichet, the two co-founders of the company in 2016. Example of reindustrialization of France, the start-up Daan Tech has experienced rapid development since the launch of its mini dishwasher Bob. Today it is a fast-growing industrial company.. Daan Tech, which employs around fifty employees for a 2021 turnover of 9,5 million euros, is now launching an all-in-one mini oven which will be accompanied by the construction of a new factory which will more than double its production area in 2023 and increase its workforce to around a hundred employees. All Daan Tech products are manufactured in France in its Vendée factory., located 40 km from Nantes. The company is also continuing its development in Europe. It already makes 60% of its sales from exports, and Europe, with a turnover multiplied by four in one year in this geographical area. Its first export market is Germany, which represents 20% of sales and a growth of 150% in sales in one year. Daan Tech was also present at IFA Berlin 2022, the leading international exhibition dedicated to new technologies, early September. Northern Europe (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands) is also interested in Daan Tech's Bob and constitutes 25% of sales. Daan Tech intends to accelerate in this area with the recruitment of three country managers at the end of the year.
Who is Bob? ?
Bob is the most compact and fastest dishwasher in the world. With only 34 cm wide and 12 colors available, it adapts to all kitchens. Bob is the ideal companion for people living alone or in pairs, also having a particular attraction for design. Bob washes two people's daily dishes in just 20 minutes. With its integrated water tank, it is not only suitable for apartments and houses, but also to vans, to motorhomes, to boats and work spaces (professional cycle, 15 minute glass wash only). Bob is designed to last at least ten years, a choice to fight against planned obsolescence. Hence its success. Other assets of Bob : made from 85% recycled plastic and consuming only 2,9 liters of water per express cycle (five times less than hand washing), it is also one of the most eco-friendly dishwashers on the market.
Joe the all-in-one oven
Daan Tech took advantage of this IFA in Berlin to present its latest product : Joe the all-in-one oven. Joe will match his brother Bob in durability, size and design, with more than five technologies and functions in one device : microwave, traditional oven, grill, convection, airfryer (frying without oil) and steam cooking. Luckily that, to limit the use of raw materials and reduce the impact on the environment, one device becomes sufficient instead of several individual devices. So, Joe the all-in-one oven, second technological jewel from Daan Tech, appears as another ecological and economical solution for all.
