The Reunion Island brand, local pioneer of spring water, is celebrating a highly symbolic anniversary this year. A look back at the history of a company that has supported the daily lives of Reunion Islanders for 50 years.
For fifty years, the Edena brand produces several thousand bottles every day. Number one Reunionese brand in reputation among water brands*, Edena has been able to respond throughout these years to the needs of the local population while preserving its priority commitment : the purity and quality of water for the people of Reunion Island.
In 2022, Edena presents itself under a new design which is accompanied by a communication campaign to celebrate its 50 years “in emotion” wishes to highlight the brand. “The emotion, a key value for the brand whose products are passed down from generation to generation on our intense island. » A limited edition design, with a “gold color” touch, celebrates these golden weddings with the people of Reunion. Formerly called Edena the Indispensable, the brand has been able to evolve and stay in tune with the times, by adapting to new regulations and making it a point of honor to always provide pure and reliable water.

Edena has been hydrating Reunionese life in many ways for five decades.
As a Nou La Fé company, that is to say whose products are manufactured in Reunion, the brand is committed, and continues to engage, in the economic development of the territory and advocates Reunion know-how. 1972 : The Edena Company is created and the Edena brand is registered.
1992 : Edena begins its partnership with the Grand Raid.
1997 : Edena begins production of 5 gallon cylinders.
2000 : The PVC bottle is replaced by a PET bottle.
2001 : The Edena Company launches Espace Edena, its activity of supplying and delivering water fountains for professionals and individuals.
2002 : The Edena Pétillante range arrives on the market.
2012 : The Edena brand is celebrating its 40th anniversary and is giving the bottle a makeover for the occasion.
Launch of the 1 L Edena Professional.
2014 : Launch of Edena 33cl with sports cap and the festive Edena Limited Edition.
2016 : The Edena Company becomes a company of the Phoenix Beverages Group which supports it in its modernization.
2021 : Following studies to better understand consumer needs, Edena launches its 8-pack×1,5 L intended for large families. The pack will be followed by the Edena 5 L bottle.
2022 : The Edena brand celebrates its 50th anniversary, “an emotional birthday”.
