Aged a minimum of two and a half years, Don Julio 1942 tequila is a tribute to that year when it all began. Produced in limited quantities, it transcribes the know-how of its creator Don Julio González. This tequila, with a velvety texture and golden hue, offers olfactory notes of caramel, chocolate, caramelized cherries and dried fruits, followed by hints of cinnamon, oak and vanilla.
In mouth, it gradually reveals flavors of cooked agave, dried tropical fruits and spices. The finish is marked by aromas of sweet agave with nuances of oak and vanilla.. The high-end reference adds to an already existing brand portfolio in Reunion, with Don Julio Blanco and Don Julio Reposado.
