Uniquely designed rosé bottles

One in three bottles of wine consumed in France is a rosé cuvée. To sign ever more original bottles, the glassmakers strive to devote all their know-how to it. In this International Year of Glass, here is a selection of emblematic bottles that will enhance the tables.

Crocodile Dandy
Domaine Joseph Castan Fine Wines
The chic rosé bottle from Joseph Castan Fine Wines invites you to the party. This bottle is an order from the glassmaker O-I, motivated by the desire to pay homage to the emblem of Costières de Nîmes : the crocodile. Indeed, the mold of the vintage was created to measure to perfectly imitate the skin of the animal. If the name of the vintage evokes the escapades of the Australian alligator tamer, the bottle itself refers more to Gatsby-style hedonism.

Prestigious VAT
Elisabeth and Jean-Philippe Pelletier cherish their Île de Ré vines like a treasure. They wanted to pay homage to the vineyard and its multiple facets by calling on the glassmaker Verallia to obtain a bottle that highlights their work. : the Paris Diamant bottle. The Prestige rosé cuvée comes to life through a low shape with round shoulders and a generous body, decorated with a nicely rounded and faceted bottom stitch like a rough diamond. This extra-white bottle enhances the color of rosés, by bringing originality thanks to its differentiating stitching. A high-end container for a colorful vintage.

Cuvée L’Authentique – Gray rosé
Domaine Casanova
Domaine Casanova is anchored in Corsican lands. In order to pay homage to this exceptional terroir between sea and mountain, the estate asked the glassmaker O-I to produce a bottle honoring the Tête de Maure. Corsican symbol par excellence, this left profile of the man with the headband is finely outlined on the glass, firmly asserting the identity of the estate and the soul of its wine.

Rose Garden
Jean-Claude Mas
“When we make wine, we cannot be insensitive to design” : this is the philosophy of winemaker Jean-Claude Mas who is looking for a bottle capable of expressing the singularity of his vintages, like its new rosé Jardin de Roses. Inspired by Gothic architecture, this signature faceted bottle was created as part of the Verallia Design Awards competition. Beyond the aesthetics of the bottle, the latter is part of an environmental approach shared by the glassmaker and the winemaker, with a lighter weight of 600 g, thus putting innovation at the service of eco-design.
