The average rate of new matured cash credits to non-financial corporations reached 0,87% in July 2020 in Reunion, according to the latest figures from Iédom. It amounted to 0,32% in April and at 1,93% in January.
The flow of these new credits is down compared to April but remains much higher than in 2019.
Two thirds are state guaranteed loans, explaining the maintenance at a low level of this average rate : the PGE is in fact accessible at an interest rate of 0,25% or 0,50% depending on the size of the company. The volume of new equipment loans and real estate loans for businesses is back to its pre-containment level. The average interest rate for equipment loans continues to decline (1,52%) in July 2020.
