The French company Metalskin Technologies presents a new product demonstrating its self-decontamination know-how : MS-Sticker, adhesive and flexible variant of the MetalSkin coating.
MetalSkin Technologies invented and patented MetalSkin, an innovative coating with bactericidal and virucidal properties, certified in real conditions’ utilisation. Originally created for use in hospitals, French MetalSkin technology, which faces the problem of virus transfer at manual contact points, is the result of in-depth work carried out by the MetalSkin Technologies teams with hygiene professionals, of health and prevention of epidemic risks for almost 15 years. MetalSkin technology eradicates 99% of bacteria in three minutes and inhibits 99,5% of SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) between two and four hours. Unlike many other solutions on the market, MetalSkin has demonstrated its effectiveness in everyday conditions and in very short periods of time, according to the strictest standards, dont la NF S90-700. “Given the health situation, it had become essential for us to make available products that could be used on a larger scale. We want MS-Sticker to respond to this growing demand for hygiene within businesses” explains Stéphane Penari, president of MetalSkin Technologies SAS and inventor of MetalSkin.
A certified adhesive that is easy to apply
Made in France, MS-Sticker adhesives are intended to coat surfaces repeatedly touched by heterogeneous populations in order to’ prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses. La MetalSkin technology, harmless to humans, here takes the form of a self-decontaminating adhesive formulated with an alloy composed mainly of copper and which is applicable to all types of flat surfaces, cylindrical and without relief (For example : switches, handles, boutons, doorbell…). MetalSkin Technologies has imagined an ideal selection for professionals (TPE, SME, artisans, medical offices, etc.) who need’ equip a large number of surfaces of sometimes large dimensions (handrails, ramps’ stairs, etc.). Rolls of adhesive of 10 and 25 meters with four different widths (50 mm, 94 mm, 125 mm, 155 mm). Companies can mark areas coated with MS-Sticker using signage provided by MetalSkin Technologies.
