The Price Observatory, margins and income of Reunion Island welcomed the creation of a parliamentary commission of inquiry into the cost of living in Overseas Territories, announced on February 1. The OPMR recalls that this initiative is an extension of its work, in particular the latest report submitted by the firm Bolonyocte Consulting on the evolution of the large-scale distribution sector in Reunion. The OPMR also participated in the work of the Economic Affairs Commission of the National Assembly, on mission to Reunion Island from February 19 to 26. The delegation of five deputies was to focus more specifically on issues related to the cost of living, housing and energy.
