In 2017, the experience lasted only a few months : service by Corsair to Tananarive via Reunion, as an extension of its Paris–Saint-Denis flights. The company, which was still part of the TUI group, had particularly attractive prices and easily filled its planes., until the Malagasy authorities withdraw its traffic rights. Obviously, Air Madagascar and Air Austral — which had just made a strategic merger — had difficulty coping with this new competition and had won their case with Tananarive. The wheel has turned : Corsair announces its return to Réunion-Tananarive, and thereby on Paris-Tananarive from June 27. The connection will be operated by A330neo twice a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays from June 28 then Tuesdays and Saturdays from October 10. Prices are announced from 438 euros for a round trip, quite close, this time, from those of the competition.
