Corsair continues its momentum to complete the first phase of its fleet renewal. The company welcomed its fifth A330-900 on May 20 and is working on the second phase which should integrate 4 additional neos by 2024. Corsair will then have one of the youngest fleets on the market, with an average age of two years and whose environmental impact is significantly improved compared to those of older generation aircraft : 25% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per seat, 60% reduction in noise footprint. In addition to the new engine option (neo), the device benefits from a multitude of innovations, including aerodynamic improvements, new wings with wingtips. Last year, the A330-900 became the first wide-body aircraft to be certified by EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) for the new ICAO standard (International Civil Aviation Organization) in terms of CO2 emissions, which will be required from January 2028. The fifth Airbus, registered F-HLUV, will operate mainly in the Indian Ocean and the Antilles. It can accommodate 352 passengers (20 a Business, 21 a Premium, and 311 in Economics.
