Festival organizer, the Entreprendre Pour Learning Réunion association announced the 2022 winners at the beginning of May during a ceremony at MOCA in Saint-Denis. 15 mini-companies were in competition.
The Entreprendre pour Learn Réunion association aims to develop the entrepreneurial spirit among young people and supports them in collaboration with teaching staff and professionals from the business world., through educational programs including that of the Mini-Enterprise. The program is aimed at young people between 9 and 25 years old, from public or private establishments. This activity carried out during school time, offers young people the opportunity to create a business in a concrete way over the course of a year. After two consecutive years in distance learning, the 2022 Mini-Enterprise Festival brought together nearly 700 people including teachers, the mentors, representatives of businesses and the rectorate, the members of the jury. The 15 competing mini-companies presented themselves to the jury made up of professional partners from Entreprendre Pour Learning Réunion and representatives of the Academy. Result of the calculation of the average carried out between the marks awarded on the three supports – video, report and oral interview – the two winning mini-companies, Glass Light (regional high school champion) and I sit down (regional champion College) were applauded. Potashion (CSR price), I sit on a level with Ti Koin Foto (Creativity Prize) joined the winners of the 2022 edition followed by The digital of tomorrow and Ti Koin Foto, the two regional public prizes for high schools and colleges, officially congratulated for the enthusiasm that their projects have aroused among the Reunion public.
Give young people self-confidence
President of Entrepreneurship for Learning Meeting, Shenaz Zadvat congratulated the 400 young mini-entrepreneurs from Reunion. “By creating your mini-business, you have discovered our reality as an entrepreneur. You have learned about project management. You have learned to work in a team and speak in public. You made decisions, you had responsibilities, you have assumed your choices. You have thus developed new skills that you will need to promote. Above all, you completed this great adventure in a context that was still not really simple this year.. So congratulations to all of you. » Shenaz Zadvat also underlined the pride of Entrepreneurship for Learning Réunion in “belonging to a dynamic federation, motivating, whose mission is noble and where the company is positioned at the heart of the projects because it is a fantastic way to give young people self-confidence, to pass on to them a taste for challenge, the desire to enter the world of work”.
