Founded in 1834, the Boizel Champagne House is one of the oldest and most famous in Épernay. This historic premium brand, loved by connoisseurs, has won international awards. The brand, already present in around forty export markets, wishes to establish itself in the Indian Ocean next year.
At 46 of the famous avenue de Champagne, in Epernay, Boizel is a name that has stood out for six generations. Auguste was the founder of the House in 1834. His son Édouard, from 1865, composes the first Brut and Grands Millésimes. Jules, from 1920, launches into prospecting foreign markets, to Australia! After the war, in 1945, René brings life back to life with his wife Erica at home by giving birth to the special vintage “Joyau de France”, still present to this day. Evelyne, in 1972, develops the house alongside his mother. Today, these are his two sons, Florent and Lionel, who perpetuate the ancestral tradition of Boizel, which they make known to the four corners of the world. Their main “ambassador” is the house’s great classic : Gross Reserve (55% pinot noir, 30 % Chardonnay, 15 % pinot meunier). But the range of Boizel champagnes testifies to a long and perfect mastery of the art of champagne., with a blended rosé, a White of Whites (100 % chardonnay), a white of blacks (100% pinot noir). And long-maturing champagnes : “Ultimate Zero Dosage” (6 ans), Grand Vintage 2012 (7 ans) and Grand Vintage 2013 (8 ans). Until the “Jewel of France” (2008) and its 12 years of maturation.
