TotalEnergies Marketing Réunion announces the names of the three local winners of the fourth edition of the TotalEnergies Startupper of the Year challenge.
At the end of the selection, by a local and international jury, of the 100 winners of the Startupper of the year challenge, the local winners of this special edition, organized on the occasion of the company’s centenary, were distinguished during an official awards ceremony on October 24 at Villa Repiquet in Saint-Denis. The three winners from Reunion Island are Cyrielle Houël in the “Innov’Up” category., best entrepreneur with Moiss’Ethik, moissanite jewelry creation project, substitute for traditional diamond ; Célia Cabares in the “Cycle’Up” category, best circular economy project with Upcycling for all, alternative solution to fast fashion to help people in precarious situations ; and Théophile Helleboid in the “Power’Up” category, best sustainable and affordable mobility project with Bus.re, application for all audiences, including those in digital difficulty, to track the position of buses on the island in real time.

As help to develop their project, these young entrepreneurs will receive a significant financial grant, will benefit from personalized support and local visibility to make themselves known. In the meeting, more than 20 complete files have been submitted, and 10 finalists were able to present their project to the local jury. In the 32 participating countries, the fourth edition of the Startupper challenge of the year received 40,000 registrations on the platform and 14,000 complete application files.
