The famous chocolate milk drink dedicated to children offers two new fruit recipes and adopts new packaging.
To limit your carbon footprint, the Mon Premier Cacolac brand switches from plastic straws to paper straws, made from cardboard from FSC-certified forests and other controlled sources, and now comes in a briquette of
20 cl of plant origin from sugar cane. In addition to this new eco-designed packaging, the brand completes its chocolate offering with two new flavors for children : strawberry and tropical fruits. Just like My First Chocolate Cacolac, these two new products with natural flavors are made in France, on the Bordeaux site of Cacolac, and from simple recipes. Available in supermarkets in the milk section, they contain 97% milk, from French farms and lactose-free to facilitate digestion. Nutriscore A rated, they are made without controversial additives and contain 30% less sugar than other flavored milks.

Tetra Pak has indeed introduced biosourced plastic, made with sugar cane juice. Bonsucro certification of the plant polymers in this packaging supports sustainable sugarcane production. The arrival of this new plant-based raw material in the composition of the brick reduces its carbon footprint by 22% compared to standard packaging., reduction certified by a third-party and independent organization : Carbon TrustTM. The SME Cacolac has never left its native Gironde region since its creation, 67 years ago. It has been established in Léognan since 2000., near Bordeaux, where its 34 employees have a state-of-the-art production tool.
