It promotes accessibility for people with disabilities thanks to a guided route and clear visual notifications. Employee side, improving in-store flows and customer empowerment frees up time for less repetitive tasks.
Tested at Australian distributor Woolworths
Woolworths, Australian retail giant, was the first to deploy Hanshow’s BuyBoost PAD. Following a pilot project in 10 Woolworths stores, customers were able to test 500 BuyBoost PADs from August 2024. The results are clear : a reduction in checkout times of 15 to 20% was noted. Customers equipped with the cart equipped with the BuyBoost PAD do not queue at traditional checkouts, but go self-service and do not need to take out their items. Customers also saw better control of their budget with the display of expenses and personalized suggestions for discounted products. For points of sale, the data collected allows analysis of purchasing behavior to adjust marketing strategies. The BuyBoost PAD gives them the possibility of monetizing the advertisements broadcast on the touch screen to increase its profitability.
