The Japanese brand markets a 36V Max Power lithium battery-powered plant shredder for the general public.
Grinding plant waste allows it to be recycled to make compost for the garden or to save time by limiting trips to the recycling center. Ryobi, leader in battery-powered garden tools for the general public, designed this first efficient 36V MAX POWER battery-powered plant shredder, smart and easy to use. The RY36SHX40 crusher-0 part of the 36V Max Power tool platform, which meets the needs of large gardens and whose performance is comparable to thermal tools, usage constraints (noise and pollution) and less maintenance.
An efficient and quiet grinder
This cutting roller shredder works with a toothed wheel which automatically drives the branches and promotes a high flow rate, up to 230 kg of waste per hour. Equipped with a powerful brushless motor (Brushless), it is capable of crushing hard and thick branches, up to 40 mm in diameter. Its high-performance lithium battery guarantees maximum autonomy, up to 207 minutes. Offering two grinding speeds, its funnel-shaped chute facilitates the introduction of plants which are finely ground to provide high quality compost. It has a function of reversing the direction of rotation of the branches to clear plants easily and safely in the event of a blockage. It benefits from Whisper technology, which reduces its operating noise to just 88 dB (A).
Maximum security
Bin locking latch with position indicator prevents starting if the bin is incorrectly positioned. The tool is equipped with a thermal circuit breaker to avoid any risk of overloading or overheating. The battery dock is raised, and its slightly inclined lid, to easily drain water in the event of rain and prevent it from infiltrating. Thanks to its large rear wheels of 20 cm in diameter and its carrying handle, it moves easily around the garden.
