At the dawn of its 25 years of existence, the committed brand Alter Eco is beginning a significant shift in the organic sections of supermarkets with a complete overhaul of its packaging and communication.

The aim of this overhaul is to propose a new vision of fair trade, with more colorful and refined packaging as well as a return to the fundamentals of the brand, turned towards optimism. The new design, modern, and simplified speech must arouse desire and appetite on the shelves, allowing fair trade products to become the norm by gradually reaching a younger target. All of Alter Eco’s communication is focused on access to fair trade for all., on shared pleasure and gluttony, as well as the transparency of its production. Brand loyalists will find the color codes which have however been expanded and declined, via handmade illustrations, with happy colors, recalling the product content and a reworked logo, to stand out and occupy a distinct territory in the face of competition.

Alter Eco values
Alter Eco’s wish is to give a new vision of the brand in line with these fundamental values.. Authenticity : the products are 100% organic and the production transparent. Gluttony : the products are “delicious”.
L’innovation : the pride of being pioneers of fair trade and carbon neutralization for more than 10 years. L’engagement : with 25 cooperatives around the world to produce ethical products and help families live.
Positivity : fair trade creates a link between the small producer and the consumer. “This new graphic charter for Alter Eco products is a new departure that remains faithful to the brand’s long-standing commitments to protect the planet., producers and satisfy gourmands” declares the company.

Committed products
Philippines, Guatemala, Peru, Ivory Coast… Alter Eco offers more than 70 products spread across different ranges: chocolate, coffee, tea, sugar, rice, the quinoa, but also vegetable drinks and spreads. Products that come from organic farming and fair trade, packaged in packaging that is currently “the most responsible possible and which will be, in 2024, 100% eco-responsible” announces Alter Eco. Almost 20 years ago, Alter Eco has decided to turn to mass distribution to offer its organic and fair trade products. (at the time composed of cafes, chocolates, rice and fruit juice) in supermarkets, in order to become more accessible to the general public and allow greater production volumes to small partner producers. Alter Eco was the first fair trade brand to get involved in this field.
