Studio Duroy, the French start-up behind the award-winning BassMe personal subwoofer at CES 2020, announces the launch of its new product BassMe+. This wearable subwoofer transforms sound into vibrations to intensely experience all your multimedia entertainment.
Today more than ever we need to feel emotions and experience them with intensity to feel alive. Thanks to a unique system of sound waves and vibrations, BassMe+ takes users into the heart of music by allowing them to physically feel the sound.
Simply place the product on your chest, to adjust the size of the handle to your body shape, to feel it vibrate to the rhythm of the music it perceives. The user is then in total immersion at the heart of their multimedia leisure activities : each impact of a video game is experienced more intensely, the feeling of an action scene is heightened, and the music literally makes us vibrate. BassMe+ thus offers a true sensory experience.
A technological sensation
This personal subwoofer enriches everyone's experience with new functions. Users will appreciate being able to connect their BassMe+ via Bluetooth aptX “low latency” to any source (mobile device, PC, console, home cinema, Tablet…), while enjoying the sound quality of headphones connected to the jack output. Bluetooth aptX enables wireless transmission of high-resolution music in better than CD quality from compatible devices. For users wishing to thrill together in front of a film or in a multi-player gaming game, it is also possible to connect two BassMe+ to a TV with a dual Bluetooth output or using an adapter sold as an option.
By exerting light pressure on the central button, they will also be able to choose between the three modes to experience the sound in completely different ways and adapt to everyone’s desires : Full sound for powerful, balanced sound, Bass mode for a bass sound and Ultra bass mode for a more discreet effect. Finally, BassMe+ also becomes a small portable and personal speaker, which broadcasts the sound via the 26 watt subwoofer pressed against the chest. The user can thus listen to music directly while keeping their hands free., while benefiting from optimal dispersion of vibrations. BassMe+ is available for pre-order on the site : www.bassme.com.

Supported by the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Mediterranean region, She participated in CES Las Vegas in January 2019 and 2020.
