With a network of 25 franchisees and 70 employees, the SME created in 2007 and specialized in paint touch-up for vehicles, has already grown up. Today, there are 25 manufacturers and more than 800 partner distributors who trust X’treme Color throughout the national territory..

X’treme Color is an at-home service intended for automobile repair professionals which allows the repair of the rubbed surface of the bodywork and rims in less than an hour per element.. Addressing car dealerships, rental companies, used vehicle dealers or company fleets, this method, developed in the Rhône, provides professionals with the guarantee of a quality service throughout the territory. By avoiding vehicle immobilization and reducing costs by more than 30% compared to conventional bodywork, the brand quickly ensures a profitable and ambitious model of success. The company started in 2007 in Villefranche-sur-Saône (Rhône), by the association of two men, Christophe Goutay et Jerry Large, body painters. They quickly noticed a strong demand from dealers for small repairs. They thus create “nomadic” vehicles called Mobile Units going from professional to professional to take care of the repair of bodywork and rims.. Today X’treme Color is the first franchise network in smart rim and body repair, with more than 100 vehicles. The company now covers 62 departments in France and the French Overseas Territories and wishes to continue its territorial coverage to develop its concept..

Become an X’treme franchisee in eight weeks
The franchise is accessible to all those who want to create their own business or are looking for retraining with an appetite for the automotive sector. The apprenticeship is carried out over a period of eight weeks at the X’treme training center and provided by a specific trainer. Four weeks of practice and theory, with in particular training in business management and the sales profession, integrating the provision etc.. Two more weeks in the field, in pairs with technicians, before returning for a week in the workshop to validate all of the acquired knowledge. A final week of implementation in the chosen sector in the presence of the X’treme Color teams finalizes this diploma training. An annual seminar and regular meetings bringing together all franchisees make it possible to support each candidate. A facilitator assigned to the network also helps franchisees in their search for new partners and customers., but also to validate the conformity of the brand's business processes.

Administrative and entrepreneurial support
X’Treme Color supports candidates by first validating their motivations and ensuring administrative and technical monitoring of the creation of the company. With an entry fee of 2,500 euros per operating license and a personal contribution of around 20,000 euros, the project can be launched. After two years of activity, the average annual turnover of an X’treme Color franchise amounts to 120,000 euros. The brand then requests a monthly operating fee of 10% of turnover excluding tax.. Evidence of market and concept appeal, some franchisees have now taken over other sectors and now bring the number of franchisees to 25. The year 2022 should be a new turning point in the history of this French SME since around fifteen new locations will emerge and expand the national network.
