To facilitate the relationship between caregivers and those being cared for, The Crutches of Cognitive, social and solidarity economy company, developed AMI, an application designed for elderly or disabled people wishing to stay at home and requiring daily assistance.
Since March 2023, 305 pairs have already adopted the AMI application, testifying to its growing success. Available via a subscription of 29,90 euros per month, l’application AMI, for interactive memory assistant comes in two versions. FRIEND Carer : on smartphone, this version allows the caregiver to remotely program reminders to plan their daily activities or even call their loved one at any time, by video call with automatic answer. The solution thus provides the caregiver with support in their daily helping mission and helps to lighten their mental load.. FRIEND Helped : on any type of tablet (iOS or Android), this version intended for those receiving assistance acts as a memory assistant. Once installed, AMI Aidé takes possession of the tablet. Used with minimal handling, it is suitable for people with cognitive disabilities or loss of autonomy.
Help with staying at home
Thanks to these two interconnected applications, caregiver can create personalized reminders. The messages are in the form of a selfie video supported by text and a personalized photo. AMI stimulates the person being helped and encourages them to regain autonomy in certain daily tasks and thus allows them to prolong their stay at home. AMI works on any tablet, even if it is not recent, particularly on reconditioned equipment.
A solution for businesses
AMI can be made available to helping employees to support them on a daily basis, by allowing them to keep in touch with their loved ones and coordinate each activity remotely, in order to reassure them and reduce trips to the care recipient’s home. AMI was thus chosen in September 2023 by the Éclat professional branch, which represents 14,000 companies and 285,000 employees in education professions, of culture, leisure and entertainment. The application is now integrated into Harmonie Mutuelle ESS health and welfare guarantees, Mutual AESIO, Ag2r La Mondiale, APICIL, Humanist Malakoff, Umanens, Mutami Mutual, Family Mutual, Mutual and l'OCIRP.
