Disembarked from the United States, le hard seltzer, lightly alcoholic sparkling water, is increasingly establishing itself as a trendy drink on the French market.
Hard seltzer is an aperitif, on the beach, around a barbecue, at an outdoor cafe. Popular for their fragrant tastes and low-calorie diet, hard seltzer is defined as an alternative to wine or beer. Preservative free, Without colouring, gluten-free and generally not very sweet, these drinks are adopted by a generation wishing to indulge themselves with this mixture of spring water and natural fruit flavors to which is added a hint of alcohol. Claiming loud and clear its French production, AlquA is a sparkling water with a strength of 4,5% alcohol. It comes in three flavors : raspberry, lemon/lime and mango/pineapple. Refreshing, AlquA does not contain any sugar, no coloring or preservative and has a much lower caloric intake than most existing long drinks. Hard seltzer is intended to be an alternative to a glass of wine or beer. AlquA is packaged in 33 cl cans. Available from April 15 in the alcoholic beverage sections of supermarkets and hypermarkets.
