Airxôm has designed and markets the first active mask in the world to protect against the effects of atmospheric pollution, viruses and bacteria. The combined action of two filters
The Airxôm mask is said to be active because it filters and destroys micro and nanoparticles. It provides total protection against viruses (dont le SARS COV 2), bacteria and volatile organic compounds (NOX, nitric oxide, toluene, benzene…). It offers the best combination of protection and breathability to the user. These performances are obtained thanks to the combined action of two filters integrated into the mask. A photocatalytic filter combining optical fiber and titanium dioxide, activated by a UVA-emitting LED. A second active self-decontaminating non-woven polyethylene filter incorporating copper particles with virucidal and bactericidal properties.
Laboratory-verified effectiveness
The effectiveness of the Airxôm mask is verified by a rigorous test protocol carried out by laboratories with recognized expertise. (VIRNEXT : virus ; CONDIER : bacteria, National Metrology and Testing Laboratory : volatile organic compounds). Durables, the masks have a lifespan of more than four years.
