It was during the week of February 6 to 10 that the “All in internship” program arrived this year in Reunion. At the origin of the program, an association which helps third-year students from priority areas of the city to have a first business experience to concretely discover different professions.
Since 2019, Suez Recyclage et Valorisation Réunion opens its doors to third-year students from several establishments in the north of the island as part of their business discovery week. For this new edition, These are the students of Deux-Canons college who immersed themselves in the Inovest multi-sector valorization center, subsidiary of Suez RV Réunion, in partnership with 'Tous en internship'. The opportunity for SUEZ to show middle school students this waste processing site, to raise their awareness of sustainable development and introduce them to maintenance professions, operations representative or laboratory technician in the waste sector. This internship had the particularity of being shared with other companies in order to give a broader vision of the professions.. The middle school students also went to discover other professions in the premises of the Adecco temp agency as well as remotely with TF1 for audiovisual professions.. With this new action, Suez confirms its involvement in favor of equal opportunities and inclusion in the service of quality of life.
“It is important for Suez to make its professions known, which are often unknown to young people.. We are constantly looking for new resources. Showcase our professions, it is an opportunity to create vocations among young people, but also to make them aware of the protection of their environment”, underlines Mariette Petitdant, director of human resources at Suez Outre-mer.
