The Meristem park project appeals to all those to whom it was presented. We are no exception to the rule. So we wanted to know more, and on the project and on these two designers, Delphine De Dea Payet and Yvann Payet, the directors of the Phytam group. A group best known for the famous Hyper Jardin garden center, the first garden center created in Reunion by Yvon Payet, Yvann Payet’s father. “The spirit of nature”, that was the slogan of Hyper Jardin, garden center that remains unique in its kind. The announced expropriation of Hyper Jardin to create the future eco-city of Cambaie led the couple of managers to think about how to bounce back, not so much for themselves as to save their team's jobs. Thus was born the agrotourism park project dedicated to horticultural and market gardening plants Meristem. The skills of a talented horticulturist combined with the skills of an equally talented town planner specializing in land use planning, this makes an astonishing project, reconciling agriculture, natural space and urban planning.

A “third place” as spaces outside established frameworks are called today. I will say no more and invite you to take a walk in this park in your imagination, like we did, by reading the interview given to us by Delphine De Dea Payet and Yvann Payet. Thus the local used oil regeneration project supported by the eco-organization Cyclevia, the discovery of the Mauritian company Dakri Cartons, the discovery of local production of AdBlue, that of péi Salédos chips, the light of the takeover of Chevillard by Lissac, several national studies rich in teaching, etc. However, I end on a more bitter note thinking of the little support received so far by the founder of Bourbon Bois Expérience, Morgane Osta Friend, in the ordeal she is going through.
