Already well established in the zero waste hygiene market, the French brand 900.care, specialized in rechargeable hygiene and maintenance products sold by subscription, launches a dishwashing liquid made of sticks to dissolve in tap water, in an infinitely reusable bottle.
Products in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, near Saint-Étienne, these patented sticks save on the production of plastic and the transport of water required by conventional dishwashing liquids. Available in a 500 mL bottle, this dishwashing liquid is aimed at the strategic market of consumers wishing to act for the environment at an accessible price. With its shower gels, refillable shampoos and detergents, the French brand 900.care has already won over more than 230,000 customers. It is now expanding its ambitions with the first refillable and solid dishwashing liquid.. This comes in the form of sticks, the size of a match, to dissolve in tap water. The whole thing, in an infinitely reusable bottle. These innovative sticks are produced using a patented process.
Products sent by La Poste
Made from natural materials (lemon extract, baking soda, natural yuzu scent, potassium, sodium, etc.), the sticks represent the 10% of active product necessary to obtain an effective dishwashing liquid. Liquids sold commercially, in disposable bottle, are made up of 90% water. 900.care therefore allows you to save on both plastic and water transport, since the only ingredient purchased by the consumer is the refill. Like all 900.care products, these sticks are offered in the form of a subscription without obligation : the consumer buys a trial kit, then receives refills by La Poste, at the frequency of your choice, and for the quantity that suits him.
An economical solution
This original distribution method allows 900.care to offer products at the same prices as in large retailers.. “We have chosen to offer very accessible products, and this is what explains their success”, specifies Aymeric Grange, founder with Thomas Arnaudo of 900.care in 2019. “We are addressing the many consumers who want to act for the environment in a practical and easy way, without compromise on product effectiveness, and without spending more”. By expanding into the cleaning products market, 900.care aims to reduce its environmental impact : the brand has already assessed that it has helped avoid the production of three million plastic waste since its creation. The company employs 25 people and has raised more than 14 million euros since 2020.
